Information you send

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, selected topic, and message so we can respond. Order support requests also include your phone number, support question, and any order reference, product details, or serial number you provide. Appointment inquiries also include the location and preferred date and time you submit. Do not include passwords, payment card details, or sensitive files in a website message.

Website preferences

This site stores your cookie notice choice and promotion dismissal in your browser so those notices do not keep reappearing. It does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when viewing the site.

Customer portal

The Customer Login page embeds a portal operated by MyGadgetRepairs. Signing in and account activity take place with that provider, which may use its own cookies and process information under its own policies.

Online store and checkout

Product and availability information is retrieved from Square. Purchases continue to our website checkout, where Square processes checkout details, including payment and fulfillment information, under its own policies. Baker Tech uses order information to fulfill purchases and provide support. Product images may be loaded from Square image servers.

Comparing products

When you select products to compare, this site stores their product identifiers in your browser. You can clear the comparison using the Clear button.

Message processing

The contact form sends messages to the Baker Tech support mailbox. The server may keep limited security logs to help detect abuse. Information is used to respond to your inquiry and operate the website.

Website orders and checkout

Checkout collects your name, email, phone number, and shipping address to calculate delivery and sales tax and fulfill your order. We share necessary order information with Square for payments and order management, MyGadgetRepairs and UPS for shipping fulfillment. We send the delivery street, city, state, and ZIP code to the U.S. Census geocoder to verify the county for Florida tax calculation; no name, email, or phone is sent to that service. Card details are entered in Square’s secure payment form and go directly to Square; this website receives a payment token.

Your browser stores product IDs and quantities for your cart. Our server uses a checkout session to keep quotes, contact details, and payment retry information. Quotes expire after 10 minutes; checkout session data follows our hosting session retention settings. Confirmed order and payment records remain in Square for fulfillment, support, and business records.
